Global Option

                         Global Option
First of all select the Global from the option menu

When you select the global then the following window will open.

From this window at point A you can select the automatic or manual system for the decimals and from the point B you can change the decimals as required.

From here we can the check of the quantity and the page length as we want.


From this window we can check our spell and we have option that we can automatically correct the spells and system can tell us bout the mistakes at once and at the time of closing and saving the data.

For entering data in general Journal first of all open the Peachtree and then select the general journal from the task menu as shown in the following diagram.

When you will click on this following window will open.


At point A date will b written and at point B accounts ID will b written in debit and credit side.

How to maintain Vendor Credit Memo

              How to maintain Vendor Credit Memo
First of all we will open the task menu and select the Maintain Vendor Credit Memos

After this when we click on the vendor credit memos then the following window will open.

In this window when we write the vendor ID at the circled area then the Apply to Purchases Task bar will shift to the apply to Invoice No.

In this bar we can write the invoice no.and then write the asked information and after this save it.

How TO MAKE PAYMENT OF PURCHASE ORDER
For record the payment of purchase order first of all click on the task at the main menu and then select the payment.

By selecting the Payment following window will open.

In this window at point A vendors ID at point B date and at point C quantity items must be written.
After entering the quantity item and the perunit price window will chnge in the following form

After this save the entry by pressing the Alt+s by pressing it window will again blank. If the payment is made with in the discount period then the amount of discount will  be shown in the circled area at point A.

HOW TO MAINTAIN PURCHASE ORDER


HOW TO MAINTAIN PURCHASE ORDER
For maintain the purchase order first of all we have to click on the circled point.

By clicking on the the circle following window will open in this window we will select the purchase order. By selecting the purchase order the following window will open in this circled points are important to save the purchase order at point A vendor ID should be written and at point B date and purchase order number must be written and at point C inventory ID must be write if any of the above mentioned thing is missed then the purchase order will not be saved.

After doing this all now write the quantity of the order at point A then the description at point B and then the per unit price at point C after pressing the enter the total amount will be calculated at point D by the program.

After doing this all then save the data which you have entered.





HOW TO MAINTAIN RECEIVE PURCHASE ORDER

For entering the receive of purchase order first of all click on the task. 

 Then select the Purchase receive inventory the following window will open.

After writing the vendor ID taskbar will change to the Apply to purchase order number in the following form.

Then the following circled information is necessary to write otherwise the receive of entry will not be saved.

At point A date and the invoice number should be written and at point B items and at point C received goods should be written. And then press the ctrl+s to save the receive entry.

How to Maintain Customer Records


     How to Maintain Customer Records
First of all to maintain the customer records we will open the Peachtree program.

After opening the program we will click on the maintain button as circle in the above diagram.

After clicking on this, this menu will open and in this menu we will click on the first option which is “Customer/Prospects”.

After clicking on this the above window will open. In this window at point A we will write the customer id and at point B customer name.


On clicking on the general the above window will open. In this window we will write the contact and address telephone numbers fax email and website addresses.

On clicking the sales defaults  the above window will open in this window the circled area is important customer name and address will not be save without entering the General Ledger Sales Account. Open P.O. num is for the purchase order.

On clicking the payment default the above window will open.

On clicking the customer default the above window will open. In this window at num 1we can write the name and address of the other person to whom we want to contact as the secondary contact.


On clicking on the History the above window will open in this window we can check the past data which we want to check.

Go to maintain menu at default information and then select the customer then the following window will open.

In this window we can select and compose the payments terms and discounts which we give to the customer on the advance payment of cash etc.

On pressing on the accounting Aging the above window will open. In this window we can write the time period of  the payment the invoice date and due dates.

On pressing the custom field tab the above window will open in this window we can write fields labels which we want to be in the custom field. We can also incease and decreace the numbers of fields by clicking on the circled area.

In this window we can write the interest rates and the amount to which it is charge and the limit of amount and the interest rate for the exceeding amount  and to print it as a waning message by clicking on the circled point.

Maintenance of Charts of Accounts in Peach tree.


First of all we will open an existing company following window will be open 


Than click on maintain button and following option will open





Then click on chart of accounts in options

After clicking on charts of accounts, following window will open



Then write the account ID in the circled tab











After we have given the account ID, now we will write description in the circled tab


After that we will select the account type in circled tab

After this we will press ALT+S buttons on key board to save the chart of account.
After this the window will appear as this:

It means chart of account has been  saved
